The Enlighten Depigmentation Mask is a cosmetic lightening method used against blemishes that affect people with melasma and other forms of skin pigmentation. The Enlighten Depigmentation Mask reduces and eliminates acquired skin blemishes for certain types of skin pigmentation that don’t respond to more traditional treatments, increasing skin luminosity and equalizing skin tone. This two-step prescription process actually communicates with your cells, bringing discolored pigmentation up to the surface to increase cell turnover, and then goes even deeper to inhibit discolored pigmentation.
How does it work?
The Enlighten peel inhibits the melanogenesis process, paralyzing melanin production for a long period of time during which corneum stratum flaking plus the action of the macrophagic cells taking the melanin deposits with them. Inhibition of tyrosinase is only activated during treatment application. When finished, the enzyme recovers its activity producing new melanin, particularly if there is solar stimulus. Due to this, application of topical brightening creams must be used post peel to obtain the best results.
